You gotta laugh! My cute Jim pulled the Christmas Tree out of the basement so that we could all decorate it last night for FHE. Once Jim had it all straight and ready to go we plugged it in to behold it's GRAND GLORY. Only 1/8 of the tree's lights came on. For the last few years we have just ignored a strand or two once they've gone out, but this year our neglect was a little TOO obvious! So Jim and James made the trek to the store and purchased 3000 Christmas Tree lights. So while the tree may take a little longer to decorate this year...it has definitely provided some great entertainment!
UPDATE: all the lights on the tree were magically glorious until they blew a fuse. We blew lots of fuses during the rest of the season. Too funny.

3000 Christmas lights??? Seriously next time you need to go to Costco or Sam's Club and get a NEW TREE!!!! I am sure it is beautiful though!

We do the same thing every year: string our prelite tree with more lights because the old ones don't work. Every year Wayne says this is the last year is doing this and the tree is going in the trash, yet it keeps on reappearing.
