Halloween Tradition
About 5 years ago...maybe longer...our circle decided to start serving hot dogs and chili on Halloween. Every year we build a big bonfire to stay warm, serve yummy food, and chat with all our passing friends and neighbors. It has gotten bigger every year. This year I would bet we saw about 300 people. We served hamburgers and hot chocolate along with Jim's famous (and very YUMMY) chili and hot dogs. We also got a SPECIAL treat! The Kenneys made dutch oven peach cobbler for the families who live in the circle. There is just NOTHING better! It was gone in about 2 seconds. Good Times. Good Times.
